T.V. Interview
I was asked to give an interview at the Bolingbrook Community Television Station in Bolingbrook, Illinois. I had a wonderful time with the host of the show, Dyanne. We talked about inspiration, what drives an author to write, the amount of time it takes to write a story, and the ups and downs of getting published. I enjoyed the time with Dyanne and can't wait to see the airing.
Summer Writing Club
This summer I began a writing club I named, Chapters Writing Club. I had five students join me at Glacial Drumlin Middle School. We had a great time reading our stories and commenting on them. The students were respectful of one another's work and came up with many good ideas.
I hope to continue the club during the school year. It is a good way to showcase an author's work as well as get some insight on writing technique.

Announcing "On Borrowed Time"
I am proud to announce the release of my new book: On Borrowed Time!
Here's what the book is about:
Teenage rebellion leads Shawn Kester down a path of destruction where defiance and misguided decisions bring him to the brink of disaster.
Months of fighting with his parents and committing several criminal acts only scratch the surface of Shawn’s destructive behavior. Allowing his emotions to rule his every move, he ultimately makes a decision that forever changes the course of his life. His defiance hurls him into an exciting car chase, a foolish game with a train, and an unexpected contest between life and death. Realizing the only hope for survival lies in Divine intervention, Shawn asks God for help. The result unfolds into a remarkable turn of events and an outcome that defies reason.
A copy can be obtained from PublishAmerica Bookstore, Amazon, Barns and Noble and all on-line bookstores.
